in 1995 paul enrolled for his degree in architecture (riba part 1) at brighton university before studying at greenwich university for the diploma in architecture (riba part 2).  in 2006 he returned to brighton university where he achieved a postgraduate diploma in management, practice and

law in architecture (riba part 3)

starting in 1999 and for over 10 years, paul worked for a large international architectural practice. he has experience in the commercial, residential, education, defence, hospitality, leisure and industrial architectural sectors, accumulating a portfolio of work ranging from large master-planning and mixed use developments through to smaller individual buildings

in 2010 paul set up studio heathfield with the intention of providing a design lead architectural service specific to each individual scheme

as a project architect and with an understanding of the complete architectural process, paul has overseen a large variety of projects from the initial feasibility studies, into their detailed development and through to a completed built solution
